Absentee and Mail Voter Protection Act
This bill repeals Trump’s Executive Order requiring federal agencies to create citizenship lists and restrict mail ballot delivery in federal elections. It nullifies the order, blocks federal funding for similar actions, and prohibits federal agencies—including the Departments of Homeland Security, Justice, and Social Security—from creating, sharing, or using national voter or citizenship databases. The U.S. Postal Service is barred from enforcing eligibility rules or restricting ballot delivery based on federal mandates. The bill keeps absentee and mail voting under state control, protects voter privacy, and ensures secure mail voting for all eligible voters, including military and overseas citizens. It affirms the reliability of state-run mail voting and postal delivery.
