End of life Options

This bill provides a legislative framework for individuals meeting specific criteria to end their lives through prescribed medication. The bill requires that to qualify, an individual must be 18 or older, mentally competent, diagnosed with a terminal condition that is expected to result in death within six months, and a Florida resident. Critical to the process is confirmation by two physicians who agree on the diagnosis, prognosis, and the patient's mental capacity.
