Harassment of Election Workers

This bill provides a clear definition of 'election worker,' which includes members of county canvassing boards and individuals serving as election officials or poll workers involved in the state's electoral processes. The legislation makes it unlawful to intimidate, threaten, coerce, or harass election workers. This prohibition also extends to any attempts to impede or interfere with the workers' official duties or to retaliate against them for fulfilling their responsibilities.
