Unauthorized Public Camping and Public Sleeping
This bill bans public sleeping and camping on public property, without a temporary permit. Some exceptions are made and those locations must maintain essential sanitation, have security, provide access to behavioral health services, and ban substances like drugs and alcohol. Also, areas should not negatively impact nearby residential or commercial property values or security. Individuals and businesses can take civil action against any violations. The law won't apply during state emergencies.
