Termination of Pregnancies

This bill aims to amend the existing law concerning the termination of pregnancies. The bill clarifies that certain penalties for unlawfully terminating a pregnancy do not apply to the pregnant woman who undergoes the procedure. Specifically, it exempts the woman from felony charges associated with illegal abortion performance or participation, which previously could result in third-degree felony charges.
